How Our Program Works: A 2-Step Protection System
Our all-natural mosquito control program uses a scientifically tested blend of essential oils to reduce mosquito activity, so you can relax and make the most of your yard all season long.
The program is designed to target mosquitoes at every stage of their lifecycle, effectively minimizing their population. By combining immediate action with long-term prevention, we ensure a comprehensive solution to keep your outdoor space free from pests.
Targeted Fogging Application
We start with a specialized fogging treatment that is applied to foliage, shaded areas, and stagnant air spaces where mosquitoes tend to congregate. This powerful treatment acts as a potent repellent and can kill mosquitoes on contact, keeping them at bay for extended periods.
Larvicide Treatment
To prevent the next generation of mosquitoes, we treat standing water areas — such as drains and low spots — where larvae thrive. Our larvicide treatment prevents these larvae from maturing into biting adults, effectively breaking the mosquito lifecycle.
Ongoing Monitoring and Maintenance
We schedule treatments every two weeks during the mosquito season to maintain protection.
Optional Add-On: In2Care Bucket System
For added protection, we offer the In2Care bucket system—ideal for properties with higher mosquito pressure, dense foliage, or near water (creeks, ponds, etc.). We place small, 5- quart buckets in strategic locations on the property filled with water and organic larvicide that attract mosquitos to lay their eggs. Any larvae in the buckets are eliminated before they can mature.
As adult mosquitos move between breeding sites, they carry the larvicide with them, spreading it to new areas. This helps kill developing larvae in other locations, disrupts the breeding cycle, and ultimately reduces future generations—significantly lowering the overall mosquito population on your property.
- Cost is an additional $25 per treatment for properties under 8,000 sq ft. Add $12.50 per treatment for each additional 4,000 sq ft.
- Buckets are serviced every other treatment.
- Buckets remain the property of Soils Alive and will be picked up at the end of the season.
Program Details
When: April to October, offering optimal coverage during peak mosquito season.
Frequency: Treatments are scheduled every two weeks on Thursdays or Fridays, ensuring your yard remains protected.
Please note that the fogging applications naturally break down with exposure to rain and sprinkler use, which is why regular treatments are essential for maintaining a mosquito-free environment.
