DFW Water Restrictions Abound

We at Soils Alive want to make you aware of the steps we are taking during the ongoing drought and subsequent watering restrictions that are occurring in North Texas.

First, we believe yards that receive our treatments will out-perform and survive longer than those that don't during this drought. Why? Healthier soil. Our treatments will fortify your soil to sustain it through harsh periods (such as droughts) better than nutrient-depleting, quick-results chemical treatments.

Second, for those Soils Alive customers currently under "twice a month" restrictions, Soils Alive is adjusting the scheduling of our applications to fall within 3-5 days before your current allowable watering days for the foreseeable future.

Third, Soils Alive will also be applying a "Moisture Management" product on Round 2 of our applications this year. This product helps retain moisture in the soil and works for 3 months.

Together, with these water saving steps and close attention to the health of your organically treated lawn, we can help minimize the effects of the current North Texas drought.

For other communities, we recommend you check with your local city government website or a Google™ search for, "[your city] water restrictions." Be aware that, in general, North Texas municipalities are levying large fines this year for non-compliance with watering restrictions.
